The 5: The New Music Comedy

“With a strong voice, excellent production values, and her humor blending awkward adolescence and crazy-chick horniness, her song titles are as varied as You Can Touch My Boobies, I Steal Pets, I Put Pictures of Your Dick on the Internet, and Jazz Fever…about syphilis.” – The Interrobang

13 Female Comedians to Watch in 2014

“Pulling together musical talent, edgy humor, well-produced videos and a critical eye for the messed-up sexual and cultural norms in today’s society, Rachel Bloom has received awards and attention for musical shorts like “Fuck Me, Ray Bradbury,” “Historically Accurate Disney Princess Song,” “I Steal Pets” and “You Can Touch My Boobies” (wherein a box of Tampax appears in a pile labeled “Sex stuff” in a preteen boy’s sensual dream).” – Cosmopolitan

“If Disney Cartoons Were Historically Accurate” Review

“Disney even tried to get meta with its own princess constructions in Enchanted. But writer and comedian Rachel Bloom—a UCB alum who has written for Robot Chicken—took it a step further in an animated music video that puts all of the difficulties of Disney settings right beneath the surface of a cheery pining-for-love song.” – AV Club

MY ALBUM IS FINALLY OUT! (But I’m also an idiot)

After months of prep, my new album is FINALLY out! However, there was a glitch with iTunes and 3 of the tracks are duplicates. Until I fix this problem, you can download the three missing tracks FOR FREE!

Hey Rachel, What’s Going On With You?

The answer is: a lot of things!

Firstly, that album I’ve been working on is FINALLY getting released in late March or early April; the reason for the delay is that I’m finalizing the paperwork with a record label to release the album! When the album drops there will be two new music videos in rapid succession and some live performances in the LA/Vegas area. In addition, there will be some new short musical sketches I did with Cracked.com coming out in the next couple weeks. Stay tuned!

Secondly, there are some fun live shows coming up! Check them out below!

New Music Video: “We Don’t Need a Man”

The very talented Shaina Taub joined me and Jack Dolgen to make a song about female empowerment (or, in my case, a lack thereof). I think it’s starting to become very clear to the internet how I deal with heartbreak.
